Bosch Motor Cargo Bike
A front load platform cargo bike running a Bosch Performance Line Speed Motor (Gen4), with the large 800Wh battery. A short wheelbase designed to be able to hang from the bike hooks on Portland’s light rail Max trains. This bike will be used for a long commute with a medium sized dog riding along on the platform in a custom soft top crate (required by the Max light rail rules), sometimes using the light rail for part of the trip, sometimes riding the whole 30ish miles. Starting out with a Microshift Advent X 1×10 drivetrain, it will eventually move to a Gates Belt and a 3×3 geared hub, with a splitter built into the driveside chainstay. It’s running a Lupine head and taillight, a PNW dropper post for sitting at stop lights and easy starts, a custom pannier rack in back with mounts on the flat for an additional battery if ever needed. Jones bars up front with a Spurcycle bell built into the stem.
